I love pretty things. Girly, pink toned things. I know it’s not particularly cool but I can’t help it. This palette is so pretty and contains almost much every colour I would wear on my eyes so had to be reviewed for you.
It’s my wedding anniversary soon and my husband, bless him, bought this for me and gave it to me early.
So, was the palette as pretty as I hoped it would be?
Ok firstly, packaging. I mean, it’s fairly sturdy for Revolution packaging and it’s definitely cute but as a 37 year old Mum of six it’s kind of a bit immature for me. But if it’s a great product I’m prepared to ignore that.
Here’s a pic of the palette with swatches.
As you can see the colours are a mix of pinks, browns and purples with four matte and the rests are shimmers.
The pigmentation for the price is very impressive. The shimmers are buttery and the mattes fairly pigmented, with not too much fall out.
I created this eye look with some of the more purple shades.
Purple eyeshadow isn’t for everyone and I wouldn’t wear it everyday but if you do like it it’s sooo pretty. There are plenty of other gorgeous shimmers here as well if you’re not keen on purple.
This palette costs £8.99 from Superdrug or Revolution website and for the price is highly recommended. Also, does anyone else think it looks like a recently launched, more high end palette? Norvina by ABH? Definitely similar although some shades are missing in the Revolution palette.
